The brief
In October 2026 AV Direct brought us in to look after the AV side of ENVIRON’s two-day conference at The Vineyard Hotel in Cape Town, produced by Sister’s Act. The job: set up, build and operate AV Direct’s equipment for around 250 delegates across both days.
What we delivered
We built a 12m × 3m LED wall at 2.9mm pitch as the backdrop to the stage: wide enough to carry presentations, video and branding side by side, and to fill the room from every table. Content ran from a Resolume media server, with a Roland V-160HD vision switcher handling sources, and our crew operated every AV element of the event across both days, from keynotes and panel discussions to pre-recorded interviews.
On the day
Two full conference days ran seamlessly from first session to last, and for a conference, seamless is the best review an AV team can get.
