The brief
In August 2026 a fellow AV company brought us in to take charge of the technical side of a women’s breakfast at Seeplaas Guesthouse in Groot Brakrivier: around 150 guests, a keynote presenter, and a venue with floor-to-ceiling views of the sea. The job covered project management and lead time from start to finish, designing and building a custom white-clad stage, and building the client’s own two LED screens.
What we delivered
We built a custom stage clad in white, with matching white risers for the LED screens, so the whole set sat cleanly against the venue’s white timber roof and sea views instead of fighting them. Either side of the stage, two 3m × 2m LED screens at 2.6mm pitch gave every table a clear view of the keynote and the event content.
We managed the job from every angle: planning and lead times, crew, the stage build and the screens, so the client had one point of contact for everything technical.
The challenge
The load-in was the hardest part of the job. Access to the venue meant carrying everything up a long run of steps, with a restricted crew, so every stage deck, cladding panel and LED panel had to be planned and moved with care to keep the build on schedule.
On the day
The best moment came when everything was finally done: the stage clean and white, the screens up, the room set, and an end client who was clearly delighted with how it looked.
